Terms and conditions

The following terms and conditions relate to all bookings with Balance and Flourish Personal Growth Coaching. By booking any session, you agree to these T&C.

Personal Growth Practitioner/Couch responsibilities

  • To send a meeting link, if delivering a session online and to be available at the agreed time. Appointments can be delivered though WhatsApp by consent of both Practitioner and client, to be agreed in session.
  • To call the client on the agreed telephone number provided by the client at the agreed time.
  • To start and end on time.
  • To offer a quiet, appropriate and undisturbed space.
  • To maintain safe professional boundaries.
  • To regard all contact and information as confidential unless there is a reasonable doubt concerning actual safety of the client or others.
  • To encourage client autonomy.
  • In the unlikely event the Personal Growth Practitioner has to cancel, an alternative appointment is to be offered ASAP.
  • To review the coaching relationship regularly
  • To review the clients’ work regularly
  • To respect the clients’ views, values and decisions

 

Clients’ responsibilities  

  • To attend sessions on time
  • To give a minimum of 48 hours’ notice when cancelling/changing any appointment or full fee becomes payable.
  • Communicating with the Personal Growth Practitioner outside of the agreed sessions to be limited to making, changing, or cancelling appointments unless agreed otherwise by Practitioner and client.
  • To be respectful of the Practitioner and their time.
  • The client’s phone is not on speaker at any time during the session (unless agreed with by Practitioner) 
  • To ensure online and telephone call sessions are conducted in a safe confidential environment with no other persons present.
  • To discuss with the Practitioner when you feel ready to end the coaching relationship.
  • To pay in full for sessions on receipt of invoice.

 

To secure your booking

To secure your booking using website bookings full payment must be made when booking online.

Appointments booked within sessions following first will follow with an emailed invoice to be paid upon receipt.

 

Cancellations

Clients must give a minimum of 48 hours’ notice when cancelling/changing any appointments or the fee becomes payable.

Non-attendance without notice will result in the full session fee being charged.

The Personal Growth Practitioner will endeavour to give a minimum of 48 hours’ notice, using the contact information the client provides, an alternative appointment will be offered ASAP. If the client is unable to accept an alternative appointment and the session has already been paid in full a refund will be given.

 

Contact

The client’s coaching sessions will take place via telephone call or online unless other arrangements have been agreed between both parties.

Outside of our booked sessions contact should be made using the contact page on our website.

Delivery of service

Coaching sessions will take place either online or via telephone call unless other arrangements have been made between both parties.

The Practitioner will call the client at the appointment time, if there is no answer the Practitioner will try again after 5 minutes if there is no answer at this time the session will be cancelled and the fee will be payable.

The Practitioner will send the client a link for online sessions, if for any reason the client does not join the meeting within 5 minutes of the session time the session will be cancelled and the fee will be payable.

Please note if for any reason the call is ended, the Practitioner will try to call the client back, then the Practitioner will try again within 5 minutes, if for any reason there is no answer after this time the session will be cancelled for that day and full fee will be payable.

 

Records of sessions

 Notes kept relating to client sessions, other than the booked appointments are daily or weekly actions agreed with the client during sessions, no personal information is noted. If clients feel they would like me to keep more detailed notes, or if the clients have been referred by an agency that requires update reports, then please let me know and I will keep notes.

Confidentially

Sessions are confidential, however there are boundaries and limits to confidentially in certain cases. Confidentiality may be broken if the client or others in the Personal Growth Practitioners opinion seem to be in danger or at risk of being harmed. The Practitioner would be required to report to the appropriate agencies if the client infers knowledge or involvement of acts of terrorism, money laundering, drugs trafficking or any involvement or knowledge where vulnerable adults or children may be at risk or neglect or harm.

My Promise

I will use all reasonable care and skill in providing the services the client has ordered under this agreement. Any decision the client makes having received any of my services are their own and the client remains wholly responsible for any decisions and actions they take.

Please note: my practice is not meant to replace traditional mental health treatments or therapies, if you are experiencing a mental health crisis please seek professional help from your GP, local hospital or a licensed counsellor.

 

I reserve the right to decline coaching services if the client is under the influence of drugs or alcohol and are deemed unfit to participate in the session.

I reserve the right to decline/terminate coaching services if the client is verbally aggressive/unappreciable/or show unprofessional behaviour towards the Personal Growth Practitioner.
